Who is responsible
Laserfix is the data controller for personal data collected on laserfix.no.
If you have questions about privacy, email us at post@laserfix.no.
What we collect
- When you contact us. Your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message. We only use it to reply and follow up.
- When you visit the website. Your browser sends technical details such as IP address, browser type and the page you view. The server uses them to show the page, keep it secure and stop abuse, such as contact form spam.
Why we do it
We only process personal data when we have a lawful basis:
- Replying to enquiries: to give you what you ask for, or because we have a legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Operations and security: our legitimate interest in a website that works and is not abused (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries as long as we need them to follow up, and then delete them. If an enquiry leads to a customer relationship, accounting rules apply to what must be kept.
Technical logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
Who we share with
We never sell personal data. Some suppliers process data on our behalf: those who host the website, send email from the contact form and provide the consent solution. They have a data processing agreement with us and may only use the data as we instruct.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you, and get a copy
- have incorrect data corrected
- have data deleted
- restrict or object to processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent, without affecting what happened before
To use your rights, email us at post@laserfix.no. We reply within 30 days.
If you believe we are not following the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
